Freeing the Bird

The shortcut through the Dreaming leaves them close to many warehouses and the water in Kaiwharawhara but only one has a palpable feel of magic and about ten young men simply hanging about.

As everyone starts to appear, a few of the men pull out various objects to focus as the magic grows in the air as the others who are a bit too pale just grin.

Teams: 1-Alex, Aiden, the Baron, Hamlet
2-Carl, Ben, James, Peron

Starting things off again and I'm just going to do the James' thread later and make it work.

The ghoul he attacks screams and turns to try and punch him with more than normal strength.

It's hard to punch someone that's clinging to your back like a kitten in the curtains. Which is what Alex is currently doing. He's smiling too, giving an uneven laugh as he rides the ghoul.

So the ghoul tries to back into a car to knock Alex off.

Alex bites him on the shoulder, clinging tighter.

"You taste bad," he says.

That hurts but gives him an idea so the ghoul first tries a sort of back wards head butt,

"My master will feed off of you!"

"I'll scoop your eyes out and stick them in a jar and make you watch as as I take out your intestines!"

He's still clinging.

Like static.

This is troublesome and the ghoul keeps trying to pound him off before drawing a knife and stabbing where he can.

One thing Orion has done for Alex is extremely high pain tolerance and an enjoyment for pain.

However it is getting kind of tiresome being bashed into things all this time... so he reaches around and claws the ghoul's face.

The ghoul screams and twitches not dying just yet since vampire blood is helpful and harmful that way.

Another ghoul takes the chance to fire a gun at Alex.

He shrieks like a wild animal and turns, blood dribbling down his mouth and arms. The shirt he is wearing has started to blossom red. Brown eyes burn in anger as he kicks off the ghoul he's clinging on.

It's hard to tell exactly where he got shot and how badly. But what isn't hard to tell is that he is probably going to make the gunman's life very, very , very short.

In a flurry of feathers and blood he hurls himself at the new target with a wide mouth snarl.

Liam is in the midst of taking down a ghoul and stops to stare at Alex before running over and yelling,

"Down, Alex, save some for the vamp!"

"HE HURT ME!" Alex growls low. "And I am going to pull his spine out and use it as a door stopper and his skull for soup!!"

"Its a fight, you get hurt. Don't have to take everyone apart."

He's already got blood on him and turns to fight another approaching ghoul.

Alex shoots him a puzzled look. What is this "don't have to take everyone apart" business he speaks of?

Oh wait, yes. This one. His fingers rake across the gun holding ghoul's face as he snatches an ear trying to pull it off.

Liam blinks and finds himself fighting again as Meg yells over,

"Are you well?"

"Yes, keep safe."

Two more ghouls head towards them with a lead pipes and guns.

And an EAR!! YAY EAR!!

He puts it in his mouth for safe keeping right then and teleports onto one of the lead pipe holding ghouls.

Liam and Meg are going to give him space as the ghoul tries to put up a fight.

Alex is having a good time wresting the lead pipe from his hands. He'll bash the man over the head with it when he gets it.

So the ghoul tries to kick and fight anyway he can, he's not going to get defeated by this thing.

The thing is going for fingers up the nose and a hard yank.

Which is effective and there's the snap of bone cracking.

Happily, Alex starts to disembowel the man.

A BOOM rocks the warehouse and Liam and Meg start to run towards the building. Liam stops and hits Alex with the flat of his sword,

"Alex, come on, Tiwa's inside!"

The hit brings Alex out of his studious attempts at removing ears. Liam's words register and he take the last ear and shoves it into a pouch before following the fey. If he can, he'll come back for the eyes later.

He's covered with enough gore and blood which would give even the most harden fighter pause. This may be intentional. It's hard to tell sometimes.

The sight of him does give Liam pause and the ghoul that runs inside moves a little faster.

Inside the warehouse, its all darkness and dust with the only light from the back where the door has blown out and Carl faces the Mage.

Though there's another figure moving quickly from the shadows with a toothy grin to take on those who dare to enter.
