Getting the Tattoo

Tiwa looks nervous and excited as she pulls James through the door to her Uncle Manu's which looks out over the water. The house itself isn't huge but it has clearly been constructed and worked on by someone who is good at making things, there are lots of wonderful small touches of carvings and paintings,

"No one else is here but him at the moment. I convinced Mum that she didn't really want to see me getting tattooed and she agreed. So no questions to deal with for now."

He shrugs.

"Or you could ... tell me something while I finish up myself," he says courteously.

Hey, sometimes he can totally be a gentleman.

"Could do that too."

She hops up and kisses his cheek before sitting on a stool,

"What should I tell you?"

He grins a bit.

"Oh, I dunno. Anything. You've got to have tons of stories, right?"

[piwakawaka]

"Well, yeah, but I don't know what you might want to hear. Something mainly true or something with a bit more of my kind of truth?"
