Flying in Wellington with James

As they step through the door, Tiwa pulls her light anorak from her pocket and pulls it on as the city is spread out before them,

"Can just leave from here. I'll make sure we don't get in trouble."

This is awesome.

"I don't suppose they're used to seeing people riding on broomsticks," he says.

[piwakawaka]

"Good for them to see things they're not used to."

[notthatpotter]

He nods, grinning.

"Very true."

[piwakawaka]

"They'll probably try and convince themselves that we're something ordinary but we're not."

[notthatpotter]

"We're far from being ordinary," he says.

Because she's a pooka, and he's a wizard.

And in most worlds, that's not particularly a common thing.



Then he shouts in a downwards direction, "We're not ordinary at all!"

[piwakawaka]

She laughs and a couple in a kayak look up at them though the young woman waves back and just yells for the joy of it. Tiwa sings back, her song caught on the wind and filling the air.
